Cadman produced architectural visualizations for 8 House as visual lead and illustrator. 8 House is a mixed-use building where housing and offices are organized as horizontal layers and connected by a continuous public path. Read more here: BIG project page.

The building is shaped as a perimeter block that morphs into a knot, creating two intimate courtyards and a clear urban identity.
The Knot
The “bowtie” intersection contains shared amenities and marks the point where the public path and the courtyards meet.
Public Passage
A wide passageway cuts through the building, linking the park edge to the canal side and keeping the ground level open and walkable.
Horizontal Layers
Apartments are lifted to the top for view, sun, and air, while the commercial program anchors the base and meets street life.
Promenade to the Roof
A continuous public path stretches from street level up to the upper levels, blending cycling, walking, and garden access into the building form.
Winter Garden Interior
Interior spaces are shaped around long sightlines and shared circulation, supporting everyday encounters across the building.
Courtyards
Two courtyards provide protected, intimate outdoor rooms, while the public route keeps the project connected to the larger district.
Green Roof Landscape
Sloping green roofs and planted edges reduce urban heat, add identity, and extend the landscape up onto the building.
