BUILDER: University of Copenhagen
LOCATION: Copenhagen – Denmark
CONTENT: Laboratory and Teaching Facilities, 45,000 m²

Jagtvej Split Volume
The building is conceived as a single volume sliced by Jagtvej. Two stages on either side are designed to read as one whole, momentarily interrupted by the road.
Skywalk Connections
Skywalks bridge the divided site and establish a public connection between two large green spaces, solving the crossing as a clear architectural move.
Green Vertical Atriums
Daylight is filtered through green vertical atriums, supporting orientation and internal flow while giving the interiors a distinct spatial character.
Balconies and Long Views
Long balcony sequences create movement and visual interaction across disciplines, linking spaces and people through sightlines and shared zones.
Facade Identity
A uniform geometric panel treatment defines the building identity and reinforces the idea of one complex across Jagtvej, despite the physical split.
Awards: Competition Winner.
