Cadman makes Visuals to inspire future TEC Students

Cadman is proud to have contributed visualizations for TEC Baltorp Campus, a new educational facility aimed at inspiring future generations of technical students. With a strong focus on technology, engineering, and IT, the project will play a key role in shaping Denmark’s next wave of skilled professionals. Our visuals were created to showcase the exciting opportunities within TEC and encourage more students to explore technical education.
A Hub for Technical Education
TEC Baltorp Campus will provide 7,500 m² of purpose-built learning spaces, featuring a robust architectural design with a warm brick façade made from recycled materials. Expected to achieve DGNB Gold sustainability certification, the new facility prioritizes environmental responsibility while creating a durable and inspiring setting for students.
The flexible design of the campus ensures that it caters to both high school students pursuing an HTX (Higher Technical Examination Program) and vocational students training for specialized technical careers. Modern workshop spaces, project-based learning zones, and IT-focused classrooms will enable an adaptive and hands-on learning experience.
Part of a Growing Urban Environment
Located in Ballerup, TEC Baltorp Campus is strategically positioned within an expanding education and cultural hub. The campus is part of a larger development that includes Next Education Center and Baltoppen Live, a cultural venue. Surrounding the area, new residential buildings and a climate-friendly green park are being introduced, making the district an attractive and vibrant space.
The architecture encourages interaction between students, the local community, and businesses. Public-facing spaces, such as collaboration areas and exhibition zones, are located on the ground floor, offering passersby a glimpse into the dynamic world of technical education.
A Future-Proof Learning Environment
The campus has been designed with flexible, high-tech learning spaces that support diverse teaching styles. Large windows ensure natural daylight, while careful attention has been given to acoustics and ventilation, ensuring an optimal indoor climate. The exposed technical installations allow students to see the mechanics behind modern buildings, turning the structure itself into a learning tool.
“Through a user-driven design process, we’ve created a facility tailored to the needs of students and teachers alike,” says project architect Lars Lindeberg. “The building’s layout supports both collaborative projects and hands-on technical education, with indoor-outdoor teaching possibilities that promote creative problem-solving.”
On Track for Completion
The project is progressing according to plan and will be one of Denmark’s leading data-focused high schools upon completion. By combining sustainable materials, modern technology, and adaptable spaces, TEC Baltorp Campus is set to become a future-proof educational institution.
